Here in our learning geotechnical webinar, Zeena Farook examines the effects of different partial factor groups in Ultimate Limit State (ULS) design. Frew 19.4 now allows you to compare different partial factor groups in one file and we will use this feature to examine the results of retaining wall analyses and understand how different factors are affecting the results.
By the end of the webinar, attendees will:
- Understand how partial factors are applied in various regions (including EC7 and AASHTOO)
- Understand how to apply multiple partial factor sets to retaining wall analysis in Frew
- Apply simple checks to analysis outputs
