Role information
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to operate from North America Region and be responsible for the sales of all our commercially available software products and grow the revenue in that region. The role is wide and varied and covers structural, geotechnical and pedestrian simulation software. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take control of the whole of the sales development cycle in the region, approaching potential customers, demonstrating software, attending conferences, cross-selling to existing customers and building relationships. The Oasys commercial team has ambitious growth plans so the successful applicant should have the opportunity to manage the whole cycle of business development and sales process in assigned territory to increase Oasys software adoption and revenue growth.
General Responsibilities
- Manage Oasys’s relationship with assigned accounts to maintain current business, cross sell and expand into additional sites.
- Build account maps for major accounts identifying key decision makers.
- Actively canvas new prospective customers through LinkedIn and other channels to develop and close new business to attain the team sales revenue target.
- Attend trade shows and other events to promote Oasys and our software.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts, contacts & opportunities in CRM to facilitate accurate pipeline forecast.
- Take the lead for sales & marketing in your assigned sales territory.
- Report on major sales opportunities to Oasys business meetings.
Experience and Qualifications
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Business or similar field, or significant relevant career experience.
- Fundamental understanding of and experience with the entire sales process and CRM tools.
- Excellent English written/verbal communication skills with both non-technical as well as technical audiences.
Personal Skills
- A self-motivated team player with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Confidence and skills to engage technically and commercially with customers at all levels up to and including board directors.
