Data Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

All data is stored in secure electronic systems accessible only to Oasys staff with both valid network login credentials and specific authorisation to access the system.  Our systems further limit data access by role to ensure data is available only to those who have a specific need to see it.

If at any point you suspect or receive a suspicious communication from someone suggesting they work for Oasys or a website claiming to be affiliated with Oasys, please forward the communication to us or report the incident by email to [email protected] or in writing to Oasys, 13 Fitzroy Street, London, UK, W1T 4BQ as soon as possible.

Terms and Conditions of Purchase

The full conditions of purchase and maintenance for all Oasys software are set out in the Oasys Software Licence and Support Agreement. All prices are subject to TAX at the current rate.

Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice – please ask for a written quotation.

Although every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of all information contained herein, the contents do not form or constitute a representation, warranty, or part of any contract.

Superseded Versions of Terms and Conditions

Oasys keeps copies of all superseded versions of its terms and conditions.

Maintenance & Support Services

Support and maintenance is included with all subscription licences for their full duration.

Annual maintenance contracts are available for software under a perpetual licence, prices are based on a percentage of the most recent list price.

This service includes:

  • telephone/email/web based support
  • free software updates available via internet download
  • personalised output header for many products

OASYS is the brand through which Arup sells the market leading technical software developed by the Digital Development team in Digital Technology. OASYS software is used extensively within Arup as well as being sold to companies around the world. The OASYS commercial team is responsible for the marketing and sales of these products globally and for providing customer service and support.

The Role

We are looking for a junior sales representative to operate from within the UK and to be responsible for the sales of all our commercially available software products. The role is wide and varied and covers structural, geotechnical and pedestrian simulation software. This is an opportunity for someone to join a successful and expanding sales team supporting the business development managers in delivering the team’s sales target.

Ideally the candidate will have some knowledge of the AEC sector and experience with engineering software and/or people movement software would be desirable, although training will be given on the full range of software. An ability to adapt, to be able to learn quickly and be comfortable with new technology is needed.

This is the entry level role within the sales team. The successful candidate will work in support of the business development managers throughout the sales process with particular focus on the handling of new incoming enquiries and routine contract renewal.  The vacancy has arisen following the promotion of the previous incumbent to a business development manager (BDM) role.

General Responsibilities

  • Work with BDMs to monitor incoming leads to feed the new business sales pipeline
  • Ensure incoming leads are recorded in the Oasys customer relationship management (CRM) system and assigned to existing accounts/contacts for follow up
  • Answer incoming calls and make initial response to incoming telephone and email enquiries
  • Work with BDMs to manage the subscription renewals process that is the basis of our recurring business
  • Work with BDMs to research and create and manage major account maps using LinkedIn and other digital tools
  • Develop your sales & marketing skills with a view to future progression within the team
  • Assist admin team as required with sales related tasks

Experience and Qualifications

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • A self-motivated team player with some sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Confidence and skills to engage with customers at all levels
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and develop in depth background knowledge.
  • Flexibility to deal with changes to their role, team organization and competitive landscape
  • Excellent English written/verbal communication skills with both non-technical as well as technical audiences. An excellent telephone manner
  • Numerate with good Excel skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion within region
