Greta
Fast and robust analysis of the stability of gravity retaining walls.
What is Greta
Comprehensive gravity retaining wall stability analysis
Oasys Greta analyses the stability of gravity retaining structures such as mass gravity, cantilever (with consideration of toe, heel or shear key elements), gabion and crib walls.
Greta performs up to three static equilibrium calculations. The software enables the structures’ overall stability assessments via the calculation of sliding/overturning resistance and bearing capacity of walls. It can also determine the bending moments and shear forces within the structure.
Core capabilities
Intuitive, flexible, fast
Input your data quickly and effortlessly with the simple and minimalist interface. Run calculations promptly and confidently and explore different design options. Spend more time designing and less crunching numbers.
Robust analysis and reporting
Trusted by engineers around the world, Greta uses well-known and tested methods of analysis. Enjoy comprehensive output post-processing, including detailed reporting.
Automation ready
Like other Oasys Geo apps, Greta’s automation capabilities are delivered via the COM programming interface, enabling other applications to communicate with and access Greta’s functionality beyond the standard user interface. For example, explore “what if” scenarios (sensitivity analyses) at speed or call the export functions to streamline the results’ post processing.
Why choose Greta
Oasys Greta is purpose-built for civil, geotechnical and structural engineers who tackle routine gravity retaining wall analysis problems.
Greta is the go-to choice for professionals seeking comprehensive solutions and reliable engineering outcomes. The application streamlines routine gravity retaining wall analysis, saving valuable time while delivering relevant and detailed results to include in deliverables.
Users can quickly assess the overall stability of the structure, calculate the resistance against sliding and overturning failures, and determine the bearing capacity.
