Oasys LS-DYNA Environment Software

Oasys Ltd is the software house of Arup and distributor of the LS-DYNA software in the UK, India and China. We also develop the Oasys suite of pre- and post-processing software for use with LS-DYNA.

We have been working with Livermore Software Technology Corporation (LSTC), the developers of LS-DYNA, for over twenty years and have an in-depth knowledge of this powerful analysis tool. During this period we have also been involved in developing some of the features within LS-DYNA such as seatbelt system modelling, staged construction, and various material models.

LS-DYNA

LS-DYNA is a multi-purpose explicit and implicit finite element program used to analyse the nonlinear response of structures. Its fully automated contact analysis and wide range of material models enable users worldwide to solve complex real world problems such as automotive crash analysis, metal forming, drop testing, seismic analysis and blast loading. It also has the capability to analyse multi-physics problems such as fluid-structure interaction, and thermal-structure coupling.

Oasys Suite of Software

The Oasys Suite of software, exclusively written for LS-DYNA, is at the leading edge of the pre- and post-processing markets and is used worldwide by many of the largest LS-DYNA customers.

Pre-Processing
Oasys PRIMER is a model preparation tool that is fully compatible with the latest version of LS-DYNA, eliminating the risk of data loss or corruption when a file is manipulated, no matter what operations are performed on it.

 
     
Post-Processing
Oasys D3PLOT and T/HIS enable in-depth rapid post-processing of LS-DYNA results. Oasys REPORTER automates the task of report generation and allows the engineer more time to concentrate on design issues.
