Oasys Educational Licences
Student Personal Licences
Oasys provide complete suites of their software to students for installation on their own computer for a nominal transaction fee of £25. To obtain your personal licences:
- Download and install the software. Our software will typically operate for 30 days on a trial basis.
- Go to Start | Programs | Oasys | <product> | Licensing | Licence Manager and select the option to "get the hardware serial number for this computer"
- Enter these details into the Oasys Student Agreement. Ensure you obtain the required signatures and then fax the form to Oasys (+44 (0) 191 238 7555).
- We will verify the details on your form and then send approval and instruction to purchase the Student Licence product from our online store. On receipt of your order we will email the licences from the selected suite to you.
- Follow the instructions in our email to install the licences
- We wish you good luck with your studies and trust that our software serves you well.
Note: Student licences may only be used for educational purposes and may only be used while you remain in education. In any event the software will automatically expire after three years. Oasys do not provide free-of-charge transfers of student licences; should you need to use the software on a different machine, you will need to take out a new agreement.
Teaching Licences
Oasys provide teaching establishments with up to 50 network licences free of charge. To obtain your teaching licences:
- Download and install the software on the server that will host the licences. Our software will typically operate for 30 days on a trial basis. If you prefer, a set of CD's is available for an administration fee of £40 + VAT.
- Complete the Oasys UNIPAC Agreement. Ensure you obtain the required signatures and then fax the form to Oasys (+44 (0) 191 238 7555).
- We will email the licence to you along with installation instructions
Free educational licences will only be made available to course directors at recognised educational establishments. Oasys reserve the right to refuse any application.
General Notes
- The page headings will be fixed and will confirm that the software is for academic use only.
- We offer FREE technical support but all communications with Oasys Ltd must be made through a single named individual (the course director). Oasys will not provide technical support directly to any students.
- We realise that some university networks are incompatible with our network licensing system. Should this occur, please e-mail us at oasys@arup.com and we will endeavour to make special arrangements.
