Oasys is a wholly owned subsidiary of global consulting firm Arup Group Ltd. a global organisation of consulting engineers, planners and project managers working in all areas of the built environment. Successful candidates would become an employee of Arup. 


Title: Industry Sales Consultant

Location: 155 Avenue Of The Americas, New York, NY 10013
Salary:  Dependant on experience
 Role: Sales Consultant for the whole portfolio of Oasys software products in the Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Manufacturing space

The successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to new technologies and show a high level of understanding of these technologies to secure new business and develop existing customer relations. The role of Industry Sales Consultant will be focused on sales of the complete Oasys portfolio (excluding the Dyna suite).

The successful candidate will have proven ability to meet/exceed the following requirements:

  • Meet/exceed regular sales targets
  • Coordinate sales activities in regions
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with customers, resellers and partners in a specified region
  • Solution Sales approach
  • Day to day sales plus account managing and large corporate sales
  • Uncover own sales opportunities as well as develop and manage lead generated opportunities.

He/she will increase the sales of Oasys software through frequent and compelling sales visits and presentations (Bonuses are paid for meeting financial targets)

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management
    • Open new opportunities within Accounts
    • Expand opportunities within new and existing accounts
    • Work with resellers on expanding opportunities.
    • Present solutions to new and existing accounts.
    • Develop long term customer relationships and achieve customer satisfaction goals.
    • Work with Oasys Application Engineers and reseller AE’s to develop strategies for maximizing business opportunities
    • Actively look for opportunities to cross-sell and be able to talk about all of Oasys’ products.
  • Channel Management
    • Develop and maintain partner sales pipeline.
    • Assist resellers in developing sales plans
    • Identify new resellers and work with the Sales Manager to progress partner opportunities
    • Maintain relationships with existing resellers and partners
    • Coordinate sales and marketing activities
    • Influence sales people within resellers
  • Technical Ability
    • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
    • Ability to create well structured, compelling and visually appealing presentations
    • Present to companies and identify business opportunities within these companies
    • Promote business benefits of Oasys’ solutions
    • Present to resellers and promote our technology

 Candidate Requirement:

  • Excellent track record in Sales within the AEC/Manufacturing Industries
  • Able to deliver convincing and confident presentations on any of Oasys products (excluding Dyna suite)
  • Able to present at board level with professional confidence
  • Able to listen to a customer’s needs, steering the discussion without dominating the conversation
  • Able to negotiate large and complex deals towards the best outcome without assistance
  • Previous Experience of reseller management and resellers in general
  • Highly Motivated and willing to travel
  • Results oriented individual with excellent decision making skills
